Kraft Mac & Cheese Chicken Ramen
When I found these in my local store I was surprised, Kraft Mac&Cheese never really makes these kinds of things (to my knowledge). So I bought two of them, one to put on display and one to eat. Long story short, it was Chicken Ramen Flavored Mac and Cheese for 99 cents… Something so cheap, I know american consumerism makes it more expensive to eat plastic off the street then food in our stores, but that is just how it is.
After cooking it, it took a little more preparation then normal Kraft Mac and cheese, and I appreciated that. But oh god, i had not made Kraft mac & Cheese in a while, and let me just say it must have made around 5 servings! For 99 cents! No sale or anything like that!
Cook notes: A little more prep than normal Kraft. Noodles seemed to take longer to cook — or maybe I just haven’t made Kraft in a while.
All that was really changed was that it seemed they took longer to cook, but I might be wrong as I never really eat Kraft mac&Cheese, I prefer to make my own.
Long story short, this is what you came for, the review.
- Price: 99¢
- Servings: ~5 (surprisingly)
- Tastes like: Mac & Cheese, not ramen
- Ramen vibe: Maruchan/Top Ramen chicken flavoring, subtle
- Chemical factor: Not overwhelmingly chemical
It actually tasted good, as far as the price range for Kraft mac&Cheese goes. It tasted like Mac&Cheese, not ramen.
It has the Maruchan/Top Ramen chicken flavoring, but what was I expecting. The flavor was not overwhelmingly chemical, and if you really need a quaint treat and like mac and cheese, for a very cheap price range at the price of your physical health.
